As a non-profit tax exempt 501 (c)(3) organization, Puget Sound Health Ministries (PSHM) relies solely on the contributions of the parish nursing and health ministry community for its operating funds.

Because of the nature of our ministerial work as a provider of education and resources, one of our most difficult challenges is how to communicate to our supporters the incredible things God is doing through parish nurses and health ministers, with their donations. Additionally, our supporters are not accountable to us but to their individual faith communities.

Can You Help?

We dislike being yet another entity begging for your money, but one of the governmental requirements for keeping our tax exempt status is to report where our income comes from, be it grant funds or individual donations. Tuition for the course is considered "our service" therefore it is not tax deducible. Those monies come in and go right back out to cover expenses for each class.

We believe God has truly blessed this ministry, its growth in ten years and the parish nurse/health ministry supporters. As this ministry continues to grow, however, we will need your financial support more than ever.
