The mission of Puget Sound Health Ministries (formerly Puget Sound Parish Nurse & Health Ministries) is to educate and support parish nurses and health ministers who promote wholeness of body, mind, and spirit within their faith communities. We  provide:

• Presentations to faith communities, schools of nursing, and organizations about faith community nursing and health ministries
• Consultation services to implement a faith and health ministry
• Basic parish nurse/faith community nurse preparation classes
• Annual continuing education opportunities
• Network meetings for those involved in health ministry

   

Basic Parish Nurse Courses We offer a standardized Basic Introduction to Parish Nursing course in partnership with the Center for Nursing Education at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington.
